Very well put.I actually think it would be easier on a lot of US fans if Timmy were to come out and say, “I don’t want to play for the USMNT” because it would put the issue to rest and not cause the resentment of seeing players who aren’t 100% on board getting minutes with the MNT.Timmy has every right to play for whoever he wants, but it would be nice if he showed his inenttarional side some of the same commitment that he is showing his club side. If he isn’t willing to do that, that’s fine, but he should just say so instead of giving the fans the runaround.
